Most vein treatments take 15-30 minutes depending on the area being treated. You may experience mild discomfort during the procedure, but anesthesia is typically not required.

After sclerotherapy, compression stockings may be recommended for a short period. Most patients can return to normal activities immediately, though strenuous exercise should be avoided for a few days.

Veins gradually fade over 3-12 weeks following treatment. Multiple sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart are often needed for optimal results, especially for extensive or stubborn veins.
We also provide guidance on preventive measures to reduce the risk of developing new spider veins, including exercise recommendations, elevation techniques, and compression therapy when appropriate.
